Golf4Kids Academy played a defining role in both my development as a golfer and as a person. When I first started, I was a very shy kid, but through the structure, encouragement, and mentorship I received, golf became more than just a sport: it became a pathway to confidence, discipline, and leadership. Competing and eventually winning MAPGA Junior Player of the Year in 2018 was a meaningful milestone, but the growth I experienced along the way was even more valuable.
I was also honored to be a recipient of the Tony Marlowe Scholarship for academic achievement and golf etiquette, which provided $40,000 toward my college education. This recognition reflected the values that Golf4Kids helped instill in me both on and off the course.
Through golf, I learned how to communicate, take initiative, and step into leadership roles that I never would have imagined for myself as a younger student. In high school at Holton-Arms School, I co-founded and co-captained the golf team, which further strengthened my leadership abilities and ability to collaborate, organize, and guide a team. These experiences carried forward into my time at Georgetown, where I served as President of the 1634 Society and helped lead fundraising efforts that contributed over $100,000 toward scholarships.
I've been fortunate to stay in touch with Coach Keith, who has continued to be a mentor to me throughout college and now as I prepare to begin medical school in Fall 2026. His patience, kindness, and commitment go far beyond teaching the technical aspects of golf; he instills life skills, integrity, and confidence in his students.
